Manufacturing by Proof

Lemmatic Precision is an ITAR-registered, high-precision contract manufacturer in American Fork, Utah. We engineer, mill, turn, and inspect tight-tolerance components in-house for demanding programs nationwide. Every part we ship is backed by dimensional inspection and material traceability, from initial quote through final delivery.

Our team brings together decades of experience from Tier-1 aerospace facilities, academic research laboratories, and high-growth startups. Our name comes from the mathematical concept of a "lemma": a result that is rigorously proven, then put to work inside a larger system. We build parts under this exact principle; physically inspected, technically proven, and ready to perform under load.

Capabilities

In-house CNC Machining

High-speed, mold-grade 3-axis CNC milling on a Makino F3 and highly automated, dual-spindle turning on a Nakamura-Tome WT-150 II. We hold sub-0.0005" tolerances in aluminum, stainless and mild steels, bronze, copper, and engineering plastics (PTFE/Teflon, Acrylic, and more). Rapid-turn prototypes through low-volume production.

Managed & Certified Programs

For programs requiring finishing or specialized processes, we manage the entire build through vetted partners: Type II and Type III anodize (including masked features), chemical-film conversion, zinc plating, and precision balancing. Lemmatic retains absolute program responsibility: quality control, material certification, CMM verification, and shipping logistics.

Quality & Inspection

Measurement is not a final step at Lemmatic; it is the product. Every job is planned around how it will be verified, and every shipment can include the documentation to prove it: dimensional inspection reports, material certifications, and finish certifications.

Metrology Lab

Dimensional verification is anchored by an AIMS Ares 1275 CMM with a Renishaw PH20 five-axis probe head running CMM-Manager, with a 1200 × 700 × 500 mm measuring envelope; unusually large capacity for a shop our size. Supporting metrology includes gage blocks, pin gages, thread gages, and a 24" Mitutoyo height gage.

Quality System

Our quality management system is built on the ISO 9001 framework and has passed third-party supplier qualification for precision-machining work; formal ISO 9001 certification is in progress. Material traceability, calibrated instruments, and documented inspection planning are standard on every job, not an upcharge.
